Academics

In January 2019 Bulungula College was opened to Grade 10 learners from the Xhora Mouth Administrative Area offering the following subjects:

• Agricultural Sciences
• Business Studies
• English First Additional Language
• IsiXhosa Home Language
• Life Orientation
• Life Sciences
• Mathematics

The initial subjects have been chosen with the needs of the community in mind, and with a focus on strengthening skills for our learners that will both enable them to study further, or make a positive practical contribution to their community. As the school grows, we will add to the subject offering.

The Grade 10 cohort for 2020 is currently undergoing support through our Bridging Year programme.
